Scheduled Programs
*Each program will be run by a native of the representative country. (In Japanese or through an interpreter)
*No advance reservations are required to participate in the programs. You can join any program freely on the day except the Ikabana workshop. In case of a large number of participants, you may be asked to wait in turn.
Note: The Ikebana workshop requires an advance reservation. Please contact us regarding participation.
Multicultural Exchange (11:00 am-3:30 pm)
USA (Seattle, coloring book), UK (British culture), India (Indian spices), Ukraine (doll-making workshop), Philippines (quiz on Philippines), China (paper-cutting workshop), “Naka NAKA Tabunka Chonai Zemi” (introduction of activities and Origami workshop)
*Naka Ward's mascot character "Swingy" will also come to the event!
Art Workshop (11:00 am-12:50 pm)
Art workshop by “Art Lab Ova”
Matouqin Performance (2:00 pm-3:30 pm)
Matouqin (stringed musical instrument of Mongolian origin) performance and introduction of Mongolian culture
Tea House (11:00 am-3:30 pm)
Mini lecture and Chinese tea tasting
Ikebana Workshop for foreigners (11:10 am, 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 50 minutes each)
Ikebana (traditional Japanese flower arrangement) workshop. Advance registrations are required. Please contact us for participation.
