Rainbow Expedition Team
Young people with foreign backgrounds formed an operating committee called “Rainbow Expedition Team” and have managed a community place, “Rainbow Space” since November 2017.
Most of the team members are graduates of “Study Support Classroom for foreign junior high school students in Naka International Lounge” who have experienced moving abroad during their childhood.
The activities started due to the strong desire of the team to help other young people in the same situation as they were and has expanded to involvement in the local communities. Now, the team has become a driving force to promote multiculturalism in the local communities.

In additions to independent activities, Rainbow Expedition Team is engaged in volunteer activities for communities as an opportunity to deepen and improve relationships with Japanese locals.
